Fixed Plant Testing
The Inspection and Testing of Fixed Plant
Fixed plant is a generic description applied to items of equipment usually connected to an isolator or fused spur. For the purpose of a Periodic Test & Inspection, these items are not usually considered part of the fixed installation, nor are they portable appliances. However, they are still covered by the Electricity at Work Regulations and, as such, require testing at suitable intervals.
Our Test Engineers
Test Engineers are required to hold a City & Guilds 2360 (Part I) certificate, or equivalent, at 16th Edition level of the IEE Wiring Regulations.
